| Group Dog Obedience Classes |

Dog Manners Level 1
This class is the foundation for all future training. Not only for your dog, but for you! You will learn how to teach your dog anything you want, from basic good manners, to specific behaviors. In group obedience class we will cover sit, stay, lie down, name recognition, come when called, walking nicely on a leash, no jumping, proper greeting, playing with toys properly and how to handle your dog around distractions. I encourage group interaction and will always cover any additional topics at owners request.

Dog Manners Level 2
This class will build upon what you have already learned in a basic dog manners class. Here you will sharpen your skills, enhance your dog's responsiveness and continue to form a true training partnership. There will be increased distractions in this class, dogs will be trained to increase attention span and begin off leash training. |

S.T.A.R. Puppy (8-16 wks)
In puppy class we will cover basic dog manners of sit, stay, come, down and loose leash walking. We will discuss management strategies for housebreaking, proper toys, crate training, chewing and other puppy behaviors. There will also be time for puppy play and socialization too! | |
| Additional Advanced Classes |

 Canine Good Citizen Prep Class and Test
In this class we will practice the test exercises for the canine good citizen award and the test will be given at the end of the course. This is a 4 week class.
CGC is a certification program that is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. |

Note: If your dog shows any sign of what you feel is aggression I will be happy to evaluate your dog prior to group obedience classes so we can together determine if a private session is needed prior to class. It is important to have some control over your dog prior to group classes to ensure the safety of others in class.
