Dog Obedience in Laconia NH and Lakes Region

Classes are held at VCA Lakes Region Veterinary Hospital in Laconia. I also hold classes at Fox Park in Plymouth in the summer and offer Out and About Training classes that are held around town in random locations. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations including kennel cough to attend class.

Upcoming Summer 2010 Classes: Dates to be determined

	Canine Good Citizen Prep class and test (VCA Lakes Region) Dates to be determined.
	In this class we will practice the test exercises for the canine good citizen award and the test will be given at the end of the course. This is a 4 week class. CGC is a certification program that is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club.

	Basic Dog Obedience (Fox Park in Plymouth) July 7th 6-7 p.m. Price: Plymouth Residents $30 Non Residents $45

	This is a basic dog obedience class covering the commands of sit, stay, down, come and loose leash walking. This class will be starting on July 7th at Fox Park in Plymouth. This will be a 5 week class. Because this class is held outside please be prepared to pick up after your dog and bring bug spray and proper attire. What should I bring to class?
	6 Foot leash (no chain or flexie) 15 ft leash (if you have one)
	food treats (small easy to chew ex: boiled chicken cut up small or soft dog treats cut up small)
	the training collar you are currently using
